School Communications
We would like to make you aware that Hill Park School will be using the information system Arbor to communicate with you via text and email as from Monday 28th October 2024.
Adopting Arbor will allow us to communicate with you more efficiently and bring all core school data and workflows into one system.
We are really looking forward to getting started with Arbor and invite all our parents to familiarise themselves using the link below.
Getting started - Log into the Parent Portal and the Parent App
Arbor also offers access to many training resources which are completely free for you to make the most of and these can all be found here.
We will send further communication on the parental app and how to register on Thursday 24th October, please look out for this information and register your child when prompted.
If you have any queries please contact the school office.
Flu Vaccines 2024
Hill Park Primary and Secondary had flu vaccinations on Monday 30th September 2024 and The Hive had flu vaccinations on Monday 2nd December 2024. If your child did not have a flu vaccine at school but you would still like them to have one, an email has been sent out with details on how to book.
Driving and Parking on Foredown Road
There have been a considerable number of dangerous driving and parking incidences recently both directly outside both sites and along Foredown Road as well as verbal abuse directed towards other drivers and in front of pupils. All drivers have a responsibility to maintain safety when driving and parking. We understand that drop off and pick up times (with 3 schools along the road) is incredibly busy. However, school has no control over the road beyond the gates.
PLEASE REMEMBER - THIS IS A RESIDENTIAL AREA WITH LOTS OF PEDESTRIANS, MOST OF WHOM ARE CHILDREN.
If you are driving your child/children to school please keep you, your family and the local community safe!
Important Information for Parents
We would ask all our parent/carers to read the attached documents with regards to:
- The risk that chicken pox, measles or shingles may cause to one of our students who is receiving ongoing medical treatment.
- Social media use.
We thank you for your understanding.
