Hill Park School aims to be a caring learning community dedicated to providing a high quality education and maximising the progress of all of its pupils. We value all who contribute to teaching and learning and seek to maintain high professional standards, mutual trust and respect for all.
Our Aims
To create a culture in the school which encourages our pupils to feel confident and secure , succeed and achieve in a way that is appropriate to their individual needs.
To broaden pupil’s horizons and enrich their lives through new experiences and challenges.
To work effectively with a wide range of professionals to meet the cognitive, physical, emotional and medical needs of our pupils.
To offer a broad and balanced curriculum which meets statutory requirements ,but is also fun, engaging, creative and appropriately differentiated to meet the individual learning needs of our pupils.
To be constantly aspirational for every pupil and them develop independence , be part of and contribute to society as appropriate to their abilities.
To involve parents and carers and support them in the care, development and education of their child both within and outside of the school day.
To offer specialised learning environments , curriculums and staff support to ensure each pupil has the appropriate pedagogical approach that will maximise their progress.
To promote a happy, calm and supportive atmosphere where children learn effectively and grow personally.
We ensure that the fundamental British Values are promoted through our school vision and values, and throughout our curriculum.
To extend and offer advice and support to colleagues with pupils with special educational needs in mainstream schools.
